December, 2008

Christmas is already gone, how sad! We had near record warmth which melted all of our snow, and now back to FREEZING temps today. I can handle this. What I find very hard to deal with is walking into any store right now and see Valentines decorations, bathing suit (like I am going to try one on any time soon after eating all the cookies from Christmas), and all the holiday spirit stripped away. It’s New Years Eve and I am saddened the warmth and joy of ChRistmas seems to be gone. Maybe it’s just me. We did take our tree down already, and our outside Christmas lights are down. (With the warm wet weather the extra water kept shorting the fuse.)
Even though the time flies by so fast, I hope everyone had a WONDERFUL Holiday season!
stay warm today, it’s going to be a cold one today! Minus 20 with the windchill. YIKES

What I have learned in the past 36 years…
life was blurry, not knowing what was head of me, before kids life is fun and carefree. My skin was moreĀ youthful looking
Now with kids, even the most perfect moments seemĀ to be a blur. The days are long but the YEARS go by way to fast!!
There is never a “dull” moment. Life is not perfect, nor am I. (people have been telling me that for years. LOL!)
but now with kids I understand the joys (and stresses
) my parents have experienced over the past years. Life is more than gaining material things around us, it’s the time and memories we live with those we love.
Thank you to my parents (and Chris’ parents) for instilling the family values Chris and I hope to pass on to our own girls!
Happy Birthday to everyone else who is celebrating a birthday day today!! In lue of all the gifts I know everyone wants to send, please say a prayer for Sarah White and her family! Pray that God will watch over them in their time of need.
