Yesterday the USPS delivered a package to my house, YAY!!
Everyone always wants the latest and greatest but this little gal is my newest inspiration. I am like everyone else, winter takes a toll on my creativity. Don’t get me wrong I love to see the snow arrive and I LOVE a good snow storm, just not when I am driving in them. It’s just that the endless days of gray sky just brings on a dull blah feeling, or my girls new word, Lame. (sorry to anyone who hears it from them. I read them the definition and explained it’s context but kids try to understand things on their own terms 
)
So last night Chris and I, well mostly Chris I just stood watched patiently and smiled, built a nice contraption so I would be able to take a photograph with my dSLR through the viewfinder of my new camera. Time like this I so very much appreciate a husband who is an engineer. Not that I don’t appreciate him normally, but I knew when I asked hime to help me he would be all geeked about doing the project. He even ran to Home Depot at 8pm last night and picked up more gadgets than ever needed. He was ready to build a tank for this camera. Those of you who either know my husband or have a husband who is an engineer are probably laughing right now, you know exactly what I am talking about. 
Anyway, ther weather warm warm and the girls and I headed out to have some fun. I love when little things can make us so happy, passerbyers who saw me at the park probably thought I was nuts, but atleast we were all HAPPY! Here are some first shots and quick edits I did this evening.

oh Kim.. these look awesome so whats the trick how do you shoot with your dslr into the box camera? I love the results.. so freakin cool
